This animation was created to help parents faced with an awful situation. They have to make a decision about whether to have a post mortem when their baby dies. This animation was designed to try to help them, as much as we could, to make that decision.

We worked with bereaved parents to find the words and messages they felt were most important to help newly bereaved parents make an informed choice. I came up with the idea of a flowing line to show the journey, the pace was slow giving time to absorb the words that also appear on the screen. This is now being shown in many Health Boards in Scotland and other countries.
